Summary:
The Powerline/Corral Loop: One of the oldest and well known rides in the South Shore area. Probably the first trail to open up in the Tahoe basin every spring. The close proximity to Stateline and South Lake Tahoe make this one of Tahoe's most popular rides.

How to get there:
• From the Reno area take I-395 to US 50 (see cover map). Continue on 50 over Spooner summit to the Stateline area. 3 stoplights past the state line turn left onto Pioneer Trail. Follow Pioneer Trail to Ski Run Blvd. and Turn Left. Just before the top of Ski Run Blvd. turn right on to Mackedie then make your first left to where the road comes to a “T”. Park here.
• From the North Tahoe Area take route 28 to US 50 and turn right towards Stateline. 3 stoplights past the state line turn left onto Pioneer Trail. Follow Pioneer Trail to Ski Run Blvd. and Turn Left. Just before the top of Ski Run Blvd. turn right on to Mackedie then make your first left to where the road comes to a "T". Park here.

The singletrack comes to a “Y”, follow the right fork down to a bridge and across the creek. Follow the trail left. |

After crossing a bridge, follow the trail left until it changes to fire road. Turn left onto the fire road. You will now be riding under a “Powerline”. |

Turn left onto a paved street. This is Oneidas street. |

Turn left onto the fire road. This is the same road you traveled on earlier. Follow it for .57 miles an turn right. |

Turn right onto fire road and follow the road for about 1.4 miles until it intersects Pioneer Trail. |

Turn right onto Pioneer Trail. Just passed the school on your right and Cold Creek, turn right into a drive leading to a substation. |

Pick up the singletrack on the left of the fence. Follow the trail until it intersects with the trail you rode out on earlier. You will follow the creek much of the way. |
